Format: 6 DoF educational anatomy VR tool for desktop VR platforms

Partnering with leading provider of 3D medical educational software - Primal Pictures - Curiious developed and built an immersive VR simulation that mirrors the existing functionalities of the existing Anatomy.tv online learning platform, allowing educators to elevate the teaching of anatomy far beyond any textbook.

Using the controllers and menus, students can inspect, manipulate, scale, highlight, label, and even walk around the objects to see every tiny detail to practice and perfect their skills in a safe and accurate setting. The VR experience seeks to increase engagement and experiential learning by exploring with contextual learning.

Using the models, assets, menu’s and existing styles and features of the current online platform, the transition to VR has been made as simple as possible for ease. Currently rolling out across the anatomy.tv site, the VR platform will be made available to all exisiting and new customers of the Anatomy.tv software, to educational facilities globally.

Launched 2020 to all store offering room scale desktop VR platforms, and Oculus Quest.
